Drive
I-10 West to
Arizona
85 through Gila Bend to the border, take Mexican Rt. 8.
About 3 hours to the border, another hour to Rocky Point.
From
East
Valley
Take
I-10 East toward Tucson, exit Maricopa Rd. South to Stanfield Rd., turn right,
proceed to I-8, go west to Gila Bend, south on Arizona 85 to the border, then
Mexico Rt. 8 to Rocky Point, about 3 1/2 hrs.
From
Tucson
Drive
west on Arizona 86 to the town of Why, turn left on Arizona 85 south to the
border, then Mexico Rt. 8 to Rocky Point, about 3 1/2 hrs.
Going
into
Mexico
Border's port of entry at Lukeville, AZ opens from 6 a.m. until midnight.
Mexican consulate states that Rocky Point is considered a free-zone. No
automobile title is required to enter. Pets must have a veterinarian's
certificate of good health along with a separate certificate of rabies shot
given in the past 6 months.
